Does it beep in a particular pattern? If it does, check your motherboard manual for the beep codes, which should indicate to what the problem is.

If you are using a graphics card, try taking it out and re-sitting it into the motherboard slot. Also check if the card is connected to your power supply. I'm afraid I can't help you unless you be more specific about what hardware you're using and what you're trying to connect(e.g. is your graphics card in a AGP/PCI-Express slot?). If you're using an AGP slot it could be that the card isn't compatible with your AGP slot on your motherboard and vice-versa?
