I'm sick of the Mets and their high payroll team. In my opinion they have an unfair advantage and this leads to unearned, meaningless, and therefore unsatisfying championships.

I was not aware that the Mets high payroll had earned them any championships, satisfying or not. Since you have given up on one team, why do you think you can be thick or thin fan of another team?
