Garry's Mod - help.............?

I recently bought Garry's Mod from Steam, and there are a few things I'd like to know:

1: Usually you have to make a custom map then load it, I myself have been trying to figure out this problem sorry! :/

2: It's because models like prison guards haven't had the proper editing to use pistols and other guns they can only really use Anabells or Shotguns.

3: Just go to a gun and the circle will vanish but when you take out you're prop moving gun it will re-appear it's just so you know how to grab it, I know it's very annoying!

4: No there isn't anyway to do that, that I'm aware of just kill a Npc and take his weapon this is a easy way to get a stun stick!

5: Download all the models and shtuff you need at:http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/ then search a tutorial on how to add them to you list of shtuffs!

6: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Answer up there you must download that model!^^^^^^^^

7: Just download the TF2 map you want to customize then after you are done customizing it just save it! But if you want to make your own map you better look up a tutorial because this can be quite hard to do!

8:Go to you're tools and that and there should be a video setup in the list of tools! It's hard to use at first but after a while you will get the hang of it!

Gmod is very fun but it takes a while to get used to downloading skins and applying them and using tools and finding tools like NPC spawners but it's not to hard to get the hang of!
